This course  provides participants with the knowledge and skills and attitudes to conduct index testing and partner notification services including counselling, elicitation, field tracing and testing of partners, linking HIV+ partners to care and HIV- partners to prevention services for as well as identifying infected children between the ages of 2 and 15 years.  Ethical issues related to managing challenging cases will be discussed to provide guidance for health care workers encountering these situations. Guidelines for protecting confidentiality of persons and data will be reviewed. 


This course is designed for health care professionals working in primary health care settings .It aims at providing participants with knowledge and skills and confidence in treating and following up patients with diabetes.
